It’s been a while, so I wanted to send a short update.

Dead Legends started as a baseball newsletter. Over time, I realized what stayed with me most wasn’t just the players, but the moments. The decisions, risks, and turning points that quietly changed careers, money, and influence.

I stepped away for a bit, and this is what I came back wanting to build.

That idea has evolved into a new newsletter called The Defining Moment.

The scope is broader now. One thoughtful story at a time about moments in sports that reshaped outcomes and still matter years later. No hot takes. No noise. Just perspective.
